Maximiliano Gilesindo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romulo Ongile in the 17th minute. Albano Mouricio's late challenge caught a PECANES ARGENTINOS FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albano Mouricio helped the player get up and apologised. The long shot by Denis Primo in the 20th minute really tested Maximiliano Gilesindo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Teodelina AFC's Alonzo Ruy got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 25 minutes of play, Teodelina AFC's Pastor Ibon made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Honorio Ruisko was left in no man's land by his defense there! Honorio Ruisko came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Teodelina AFC's Pastor Ibon. But to his dismay, Pastor Ibon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Honorio Ruisko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alonzo Ruy in the 32nd minute of play. With a little luck, Teodelina AFC's Maximiliano Gilesindo got control of the ball when Romulo Ongile tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 37th minute, Pastor Ibon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Higinio Aires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Gilesindo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alonzo Ruy in the 47th minute of play forced PECANES ARGENTINOS FC's goalkeeper Honorio Ruisko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Teodelina AFC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Higinio Aires to make the kick off.
