An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Nabar in the 13th minute of play forced Naranjito FC's goalkeeper Bernardo Chesus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, FC Miami's Rogelio Nabar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernardo Chesus narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 19th minute, Manuel Jaume got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rogelio Nabar to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Naranjito FC's zone, Rogelio Nabar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardo Chesus came out of the goal and Rogelio Nabar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rogelio Nabar might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernardo Chesus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rogelio Nabar ran back to his position shaking his head. After 57 played minutes FC Miami got a freekick which was hit by Celso Belasko. In the 58th minute, Cornelio Noe sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC Miami's Anastasio Tirso didn't even have to move. Rogelio Nabar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Bernardo Chesus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rogelio Nabar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 65 minutes into the game, Timoteo Montes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Naranjito FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Miami the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 65th minute of the game. One of Naranjito FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Miami:s goal. In the 88th minute, Sylvain De Meur reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bernardo Chesus. The goal made the score 0-4. In the 96th minute, FC Miami's Sylvain De Meur dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. FC Miami played a much better game than Naranjito FC and deserved their victory. The Naranjito FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
