Albinegro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidro Avellaneda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonas Macias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anier Theodore in the 24th minute of the match. If Anier Theodore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 34 minutes, Anier Theodore managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Silvio Piarres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Cibran in the 41st minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Isidro Avellaneda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isidro Avellaneda to make the kick off. Anier Theodore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Jonas Macias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonas Macias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidro Avellaneda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Albinegro FC's Jonas Macias threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Isidro Avellaneda, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Victor Cibran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvio Piarres having to interfere. In the 71st match minute, Junín FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauro Fortun to maneuver through the defense. Silvio Piarres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Javier Dubardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After a rather tough play, Albinegro FC's Isidro Avellaneda got a free kick in the 78th minute. Fidel Ayala charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fidel Ayala the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 81 played minutes Albinegro FC got a freekick which was hit by Fidel Ayala. Jonas Macias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidro Avellaneda in the 86th minute of the match. Anier Theodores short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Jonas Macias to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Julian Bertol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Albinegro FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
