Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jonas Gregory started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Humberto Guillelmus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Cordarell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Humberto Guillelmus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Angelo Cordarell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diego Orlondon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Gregory in the 14th minute of play. Leonides Abalos kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Humberto Guillelmus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Angelo Cordarell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Jonas Gregory got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 28th minute, Angelino Xabier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the match, Baldomero Bieito notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Chañares FC's Angelo Cordarell. Angelo Cordarell was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Godoy Cruz Antonio Tomba's Diego Orlondon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Godoy Cruz Antonio Tomba from getting a goal against them. When Teodoro Ixidor was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 43 minutes had been played. Teodoro Ixidor hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. When Chañares FC's Jonas Gregory, in the 45th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Chañares FC. After the first half Godoy Cruz Antonio Tomba were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Baldomero Bieito to strike the kick off in the second half. Diego Orlondon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquiles Salamon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Baldomero Bieito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Humberto Guillelmus took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Angelo Cordarell to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Chañares FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Elpidio Karmel hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the match, Leonides Abalos notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Chañares FC's Angelo Cordarell. Angelo Cordarell was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 80th minute, Leonides Abalos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 81 played minutes, Chañares FC's Elpidio Karmel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Diego Orlondon came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chañares FC reached it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baldomero Bieito got free with Angelo Cordarell in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Chañares FC's zone, Baldomero Bieito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Cordarell came out of the goal and Baldomero Bieito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Humberto Guillelmus hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. After 95 played minutes Elpidio Karmel shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Godoy Cruz Antonio Tomba's Diego Orlondon to catch but Elpidio Karmel was lucky. It became 1-3 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal.
