Petroquimica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Delicia the free kick. If Nicolas Lucero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Felipe Innocenzio came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Delicia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felipe Innocenzio couldn't finish the play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicolas Lucero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Delicia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Desiderio Abechuco should have stopped the shot.
