In the 6th minute there was a penalty for La Cañada F.C.. Serafin Astrada stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Basilio Loi. 0-1. Sergio Mateo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Basilio Loi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergio Mateo, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Delmiro Venceslao charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Delmiro Venceslao the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 29th minute, Marco Jorrin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Basilio Loi was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Pomancillo AFC's Basilio Loi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Mateo in the 32nd minute of play. Julio Sanson hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 45 minutes into the match, La Cañada F.C.'s Serafin Astrada broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isaias Asier was the one to do the kick off. After 54 minutes La Cañada F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Angel Johans who took care of the corner kick. Sergio Mateo struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Basilio Loi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Cañada F.C.. The supporters of La Cañada F.C. booed when Pomancillo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Sanson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute of the match Serafin Astrada shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Basilio Loi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Marco Jorrin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Basilio Loi was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Sergio Mateo managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Cañada F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Sergio Mateo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Basilio Loi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. La Cañada F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergio Mateo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
