The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Benigno Silvino came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the C.A Talleres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benigno Silvino couldn't finish the play. Benigno Silvino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Adrian Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Benigno Silvino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Filiberto Rico struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Celedonio Vimaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A Talleres. 11 minutes into the match, C.A. Los Hobbits's goalkeeper Celedonio Vimaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benigno Silvino. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Severino Salamon took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Celedonio Vimaro to make any attempt to save it. After 19 minutes of play, C.A Talleres's Santiago Precioso made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Celedonio Vimaro was left in no man's land by his defense there! 22 minutes into the game, Ladislao Ixaka was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A. Los Hobbits's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A Talleres the free kick. In the 23rd minute, Ladislao Ixaka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carmelo Ihazintu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nunez Primeiro in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute of the match Inocencio Jorrin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carmelo Ihazintu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Fabio Lehior's late challenge caught a C.A. Los Hobbits's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabio Lehior helped the player get up and apologised. Fabio Lehior kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Filiberto Rico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celedonio Vimaro having to interfere. 34 minutes into the game, Marcelino Garikoitz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A. Los Hobbits's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A Talleres the free kick. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the game, C.A Talleres's Benigno Silvino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Celedonio Vimaro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 40th minute, Honorato Rio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celedonio Vimaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benigno Silvino in the 42nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. Los Hobbits's zone, Benigno Silvino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celedonio Vimaro came out of the goal and Benigno Silvino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Filiberto Rico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Celedonio Vimaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

If Santiago Precioso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benigno Silvino in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celedonio Vimaro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anastasio Chico kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. When Cornelio Meder came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the C.A. Los Hobbits fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cornelio Meder couldn't finish the play. Filiberto Rico took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Celedonio Vimaro. Celedonio Vimaro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Celedonio Vimaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Precioso, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filiberto Rico in the 66th minute of play forced C.A. Los Hobbits's goalkeeper Celedonio Vimaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adrian Abreu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celedonio Vimaro having to interfere. Benigno Silvino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celedonio Vimaro having to interfere. Benigno Silvino might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Celedonio Vimaro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benigno Silvino ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 76th minute, Severino Salamon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celedonio Vimaro was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. In the 79thth minute of the game Fabio Lehior who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A. Los Hobbits's Celedonio Vimaro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Celedonio Vimaro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benigno Silvino's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. After 81 played minutes C.A. Los Hobbits got a freekick which was hit by Aquiles Lastur. Filiberto Rico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 84 minutes into the game, Filiberto Rico cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Celedonio Vimaro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 89 minutes into the match, Santiago Precioso notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of C.A. Los Hobbits's Celedonio Vimaro. Celedonio Vimaro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Filiberto Rico sped through C.A. Los Hobbits's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Celedonio Vimaro. After having played for 96 minutes, Severino Salamon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A Talleres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severino Salamon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. C.A Talleres walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
