In the 3rd minute, Victoriano Maldonado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Braulio Montez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 7th minute, Braulio Montez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Raton Juan Carlos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 10 minutes into the game, Juan Corderro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Las Pelotas F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Raton Juan Carlos the free kick. After a rather tough play, Las Pelotas F.C.'s Juan Corderro got a free kick in the 10th minute. Alejo Oliverio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Las Pelotas F.C.'s zone, Alejo Oliverio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaias Norino came out of the goal and Alejo Oliverio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isaias Norino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejo Oliverio in the 21st minute of play. The supporters of El Raton Juan Carlos booed when Las Pelotas F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Corderro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute of the match Fausto Fliz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Isaias Norino showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Las Pelotas F.C. booed when El Raton Juan Carlos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Markel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Las Pelotas F.C.'s Romeo Medero got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Braulio Montez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orlando Muc could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Virgilio Eguntsenti made a huge save. In the 45th minute Braulio Montez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaias Norino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Virgilio Eguntsenti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeo Medero in the 46th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Romeo Medero to make the kick off. Isaias Norino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braulio Montez in the 54th minute of the match. Silvestre Osorio charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvestre Osorio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 57th minute, Silvestre Osorio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 58 minutes into the match, Las Pelotas F.C.'s goalkeeper Isaias Norino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alejo Oliverio. Isaias Norino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alejo Oliverio in the 61st minute. Virgilio Eguntsenti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Muc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alejo Oliverio might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isaias Norino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alejo Oliverio ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee felt a red card was in order, 72 minutes into the game, when Cristo Padro put in a rough tackle. In the 72nd minute, one of Las Pelotas F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Las Pelotas F.C.. Fausto Fliz walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. If Braulio Montez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Virgilio Eguntsenti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Muc in the 81st minute of play. Orlando Muc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Eguntsenti having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Orlando Muc managed to get in a good position for a shot. Las Pelotas F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Orlando Muc was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Virgilio Eguntsenti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Isaias Norino was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Braulio Montez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 88 minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. El Raton Juan Carlos had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
