Artemio Pello was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 9th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Serafino Vincente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Eriberto Iban managed to get in a good position for a shot. Teflon y Plastisol FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eriberto Iban was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodolfo Sotil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Serafino Vincente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute Ricardo Guter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Polentzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Virgilio Flores got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rodolfo Sotil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eriberto Iban, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After 32 played minutes Garrison FC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Guter. In the 34th minute, Marco Argoitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ricardo Guter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Generoso Polentzi made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Virgilio Flores sent off a good shot on target. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Serafino Vincente was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Virgilio Flores had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Generoso Polentzi. Teflon y Plastisol FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Virgilio Flores was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Virgilio Flores fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Generoso Polentzi having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Garrison FC's zone, Serafino Vincente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodolfo Sotil came out of the goal and Serafino Vincente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpected shot in the 65th minute by Eriberto Iban got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Rodolfo Sotil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eriberto Iban in the 67th minute. Virgilio Flores received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Generoso Polentzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Emanuel Obano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Garrison FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Obano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Generoso Polentzi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Jose Berenguer fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Garrison FC's protests and gave Jose Berenguer a yellow card for diving instead. Generoso Polentzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Guter, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 85th minute, Freddy Fagildo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo Guter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marco Argoitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serafino Vincente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Sotil having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
