Clemente Ostots might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vigil. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Clemente Ostots ran back to his position shaking his head. Justino Rojelio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Israel Petri in the 38th minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Mencué FC's Mariano Evarado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Justino Rojelio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Evarado made a kick off. The supporters of Mencué FC booed when Riber y su mancha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luciano Harriet didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Riber y su mancha's Justino Rojelio got control of the ball when Israel Petri tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Jonathan Orland came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Riber y su mancha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Orland couldn't finish the play. Everardo Tibalt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clemente Ostots fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vigil having to interfere. After 81 played minutes Riber y su mancha got a freekick which was hit by Ciriaco Bartolome. When Everardo Tibalt came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Riber y su mancha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Everardo Tibalt couldn't finish the play. In the 86th match minute, Riber y su mancha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciriaco Bartolome to maneuver through the defense. When Jonathan Orland fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick.
