Yaví's Filomeno Ferdinand got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 22 minutes into the game, Dalmacio Santxol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Corti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yaví the free kick. The supporters of Yaví booed when Corti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmacio Santxol didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filomeno Ferdinand in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isidoro Umbruso saved Corti from getting behind. 26 minutes into the match, Yaví's goal looked a bit too open when Atilano Bemabe came free, but Ricardo Chago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute, Moises Iratzeder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Corti's Dalmacio Santxol got his second yellow card of the match in the 30th minute. The referee ordered Dalmacio Santxol off the ground. After a rather tough play, Corti's Dalmacio Santxol got a free kick in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleto Tancredo in the 33rd minute of play forced Corti's goalkeeper Isidoro Umbruso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Moises Iratzeder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yaví's Ricardo Chago proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Yaví from getting a goal against them. Isidoro Umbruso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filomeno Ferdinand, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Atilano Bemabe's late challenge caught a Yaví's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Atilano Bemabe helped the player get up and apologised. After 44 played minutes Corti got a freekick which was hit by Atilano Bemabe. Ezequiel Martxelin charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ezequiel Martxelin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Isidoro Umbruso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleto Tancredo in the 54th minute of play. Moises Iratzeder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Chago having to interfere. Nicasio Nataniel was shown his second yellow card after 58 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Yaví booed when Corti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicasio Nataniel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Corti defense, Filomeno Ferdinand kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isidoro Umbruso. The Corti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isidoro Umbruso should have stopped the shot. Filomeno Ferdinand struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Isidoro Umbruso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yaví. Ricardo Chago didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Moises Iratzeder went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. 80 minutes into the match, Corti's goalkeeper Isidoro Umbruso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filomeno Ferdinand. Isidoro Umbruso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cleto Tancredo in the 86th minute of the match. Cleto Tancredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Umbruso having to interfere. Corti's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
