With a left leg Ricardo Chago saved Yaví from getting behind. In the 8th minute, Artemio Faro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Joel Kimetz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Chago was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Filomeno Ferdinand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joel Kimetz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Chago having to interfere. After some careless play in the Yaví defense, Joel Kimetz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Chago. The Yaví fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Chago should have stopped the shot. Joel Kimetz struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Ricardo Chago didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Independiente Pigüé. In the 30th minute, Club Independiente Pigüé's Joel Kimetz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ricardo Chago. Ricardo Chago yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Joel Kimetz did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Ricardo Chago 35 minutes into the match. Ricardo Chago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Kimetz, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Javier Sabino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Eustaquio Jordy fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Independiente Pigüé's protests and gave Eustaquio Jordy a yellow card for diving instead. Eustaquio Jordy kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The referee showed Hermengildo Eutor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Joel Kimetz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Kimetz in the 79th minute of play forced Yaví's goalkeeper Ricardo Chago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Yaví's zone, Hermengildo Eutor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Chago came out of the goal and Hermengildo Eutor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hermengildo Eutor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd minute, Filomeno Ferdinand got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 94 minutes of play, Club Independiente Pigüé's Joel Kimetz made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Chago was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee ended the match the Club Independiente Pigüé players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
