Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Benigno Vitin started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Victorio Montrelle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brandsen's supporters rose to their feet, but Victorio Montrelle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anselmo Quin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Marcos Rayman fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Reta's protests and gave Marcos Rayman a yellow card for diving instead. Marcos Rayman hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Rigoberto Gutierrez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Anselmo Quin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saul Raphael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Quin having to interfere. After having played for 13 minutes, Celestino Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brandsen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celestino Marques was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Agustin Mendiko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Agustin Mendiko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reta's Anselmo Quin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustin Mendiko in the 22nd minute of play. Anselmo Quin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celestino Marques in the 23rd minute of play. Victorio Montrelle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Quin having to interfere. Celestino Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Mendiko in the 32nd minute of play forced Reta's goalkeeper Anselmo Quin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd match minute, Reta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Fanuco to maneuver through the defense. Brandsen's Aquiles Sadurni couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 34th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Reta. Victorio Montrelle in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Anselmo Quin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Celestino Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anselmo Quin made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Celestino Marques sent off a good shot on target. Reta's Anselmo Quin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Reta from getting a goal against them. 46 minutes into the match, Brandsen's Agustin Mendiko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anselmo Quin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Agustin Mendiko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Reta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Kimetz to maneuver through the defense. Anselmo Quin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorio Montrelle in the 54th minute of the match. Victorio Montrelle kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Brandsen's Higinio Pello proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Brandsen from getting a goal against them. Celestino Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Agustin Mendiko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Mendiko in the 76th minute of play forced Reta's goalkeeper Anselmo Quin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brandsen's Celestino Marques got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Silverio Godoy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Higinio Pello having to make a save. In the 86th minute Agustin Mendiko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Quin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Celestino Marques came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Brandsen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celestino Marques couldn't finish the play. Agustin Mendiko took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anselmo Quin. Anselmo Quin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Brandsen had played much better football throughout.
