In the 6th minute, Carlos Artaldo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aguay's Artemio Abaunza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Aguay from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Aguay's Artemio Abaunza got control of the ball when Carlos Artaldo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aguay's Pedro Franco got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Artemio Abaunza made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Carlos Artaldo sent off a good shot on target. Centauro Madryn's Emilio Florian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Franco in the 21st minute of play. Emilio Florian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Franco, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After 29 minutes of play, Aguay's Martin Gumaro made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emilio Florian was left in no man's land by his defense there! Emilio Florian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Franco in the 33rd minute of the match. Carlos Artaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpected shot in the 38th minute by Epifanio Ramos got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Martin Gumaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martin Gumaro was the one to do the kick off. Aguay's Artemio Abaunza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Artaldo in the 55th minute of play. Carlos Artaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Carlos Artaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artemio Abaunza having to interfere. Artemio Abaunza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Artaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Martin Gumaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Emilio Florian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Epifanio Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Carlos Artaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Epifanio Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artemio Abaunza having to interfere. Epifanio Ramos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chants of Aguay echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Centauro Madryn had held the ball for most of the match.
