Vicente Rufo might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guillermo Nardo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vicente Rufo ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, InDePeNdIeNtE's Carolo Erdiano got a free kick in the 8th minute. Jonas Rojelio's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Guillermo Nardo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Eduardo Gervaso made in the 21st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Placido Jakobe. 24 minutes into the game, Eduardo Gervaso threw the ball into play from the sideline. InDePeNdIeNtE's Leandro Perutxo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 25th minute, Albano Cesario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute, Vicente Rufo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. With a little luck, Gladiadores's Guillermo Nardo got control of the ball when Jonas Rojelio tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 32nd minute of the match Camilo Lain sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Damian Frasco skillfully saved the ball. Jonas Rojelio kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Damian Frasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Placido Jakobe in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Placido Jakobe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A sloppy throw-in by Eduardo Gervaso in the 91st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by InDePeNdIeNtE's Anacleto Rubio. If Vicente Rufo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carolo Erdiano during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
