The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ubaldo Christobal made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Dante Tebaldo sent off a good shot on target. 7 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Ocelot's Isaac Otsando fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Alejandro Deunoro scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodolfo Cloyo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rodolfo Cloyo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejandro Deunoro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, Larroude's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Jago came free, but Rodolfo Cloyo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodolfo Cloyo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejandro Deunoro in the 19th minute of the match. Ocelot's Filiberto Beila got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Ocelot booed when Larroude was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Loreto didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Otsando in the 28th minute of play forced Larroude's goalkeeper Rodolfo Cloyo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Larroude's Serafin Ederono got a free kick in the 28th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Larroude's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Otsando came free, but Rodolfo Cloyo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eustacio Benvide stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Flavio Jago's late challenge caught a Larroude's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flavio Jago helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Larroude booed when Ocelot was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ocelot's Jacinto Obeko suffered a concussion in the 61st minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. After 61 minutes, Lorenzo Tabby mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Larroude and the Ocelot players grew even worse after the yellow card. Isaac Otsando came free with the goalkeeper in the 65th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rodolfo Cloyo could save by the left post. Filiberto Beila struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Rodolfo Cloyo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ocelot. 68 minutes into the match, Larroude's goalkeeper Rodolfo Cloyo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaac Otsando. After 70 played minutes Larroude got a freekick which was hit by Anacleto Gaitan. With his leg Rodolfo Cloyo managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Ocelot's Isaac Otsando fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 76 minutes into the game, Ocelot's Isaac Otsando nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rodolfo Cloyo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isaac Otsando got free with Rodolfo Cloyo in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Filiberto Beila came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Ocelot fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filiberto Beila couldn't finish the play. Dante Tebaldo hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Isaac Otsando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filiberto Beila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Cloyo having to interfere. Ocelot's attack was well implemented in the 91st minute, but when Isaac Otsando was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. 93 minutes into the match, Larroude's goalkeeper Rodolfo Cloyo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaac Otsando. Alejandro Deunoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Filiberto Beila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ocelot's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
