The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Ocelot's Isaac Otsando nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Panfilo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Isaac Otsando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julio Panfilo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Otsando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Dellas sporting club getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Fidel Misael hit a great ball. Isaac Otsando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Panfilo having to interfere. Julio Panfilo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Otsando in the 19th minute of play. Filiberto Beila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Julio Panfilo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacinto Obeko during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jacinto Obeko hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Abel Abella charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abel Abella the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 23 played minutes Dellas sporting club got a freekick which was hit by Abel Abella. When Filiberto Beila came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Ocelot fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filiberto Beila couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Ocelot's Ubaldo Christobal got control of the ball when Raimundo Ekaitz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ubaldo Christobal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robustiano Brais, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. If Isaac Otsando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute Isaac Otsando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Panfilo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filiberto Beila in the 37th minute of play forced Dellas sporting club's goalkeeper Julio Panfilo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute Isaac Otsando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Panfilo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Robustiano Brais was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Dellas sporting club's Raimundo Ekaitz got a free kick in the 52nd minute. If Isaac Otsando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. Ocelot's supporters rose to their feet, but Filiberto Beila was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Panfilo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ubaldo Christobal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nemesio Omero went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Ubaldo Christobal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robustiano Brais in the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute Robustiano Brais shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Christobal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Alejandro Deunoro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ocelot's supporters rose to their feet, but Alejandro Deunoro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Panfilo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Ocelot fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. In the 83rd minute, Ocelot's Filiberto Beila dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Isaac Otsando managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ocelot's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flavio Jago was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Isaac Otsandos short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Julio Panfilo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ocelot were furious when Luciano Jerardo was red carded, 96 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 95th minute, one of Ocelot:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ocelot. When the final whistle sounded Ocelot left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Dellas sporting club.
