He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Lisandro Naike. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosme Louis in the 17th minute of play forced Marucha FC's goalkeeper Fermin Mede to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herminio Jerold received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Lisandro Naike tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gavino Pereyra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fermin Mede stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cosme Louis's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute, Cosme Louis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gavino Pereyra struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Fermin Mede didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SALERNITANA. Cosme Louis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fermin Mede having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Herminio Jerold fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Herminio Jerold in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lisandro Naike prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 44th minute, Gavino Pereyra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fermin Mede was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 47 played minutes SALERNITANA got a freekick which was hit by Anibal Hulberto. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Lisandro Naike took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herminio Jerold, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fermin Gumaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Cosme Louis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fermin Mede was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. The SALERNITANA players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
