The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Eliseo Salvino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Hipolito Gabino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jocolí FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hipolito Gabino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Faustino Medina breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amancio Jerano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Faustino Medina having to make a save. When Hipolito Gabino came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Jocolí FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hipolito Gabino couldn't finish the play. In the 23rd minute Amancio Jerano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustino Medina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Romeo Ramone cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Samuel Johans was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 33 minutes into the match, Payable On Death's goal looked a bit too open when Amancio Jerano came free, but Faustino Medina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Jocolí FC's Amancio Jerano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Faustino Medina narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hipolito Gabino might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Faustino Medina. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hipolito Gabino ran back to his position shaking his head. 41 minutes into the match, Gilberto Tanio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Samuel Johans. Jocolí FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gilberto Tanio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Teodoro Vargas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Samuel Johans. Jocolí FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Romeo Ramone struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Samuel Johans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Payable On Death.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amancio Jerano to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Payable On Death got a freekick which was hit by Eusebio Astigar. Faustino Medina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amancio Jerano in the 53rd minute of play. If Romeo Ramone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Tanio in the 57th minute of play forced Jocolí FC's goalkeeper Samuel Johans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute, Jocolí FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Romeo Ramone fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Faustino Medina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amancio Jerano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Samuel Johans made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Romeo Ramone sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Payable On Death's Eliseo Salvino got a free kick in the 69th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Payable On Death's Gilberto Tanio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Samuel Johans narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 85 minutes, Amancio Jerano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jocolí FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amancio Jerano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hipolito Gabino scored 2-2 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Faustino Medina, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
