When Desiderio Abreu fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Poma AFC's protests and gave Desiderio Abreu a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Poma AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 10th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Adolfo Cai, was totally fooled by C.A. Central Norte's Fernan Erlantz, who 12 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Omar Gorka managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A. Central Norte's supporters rose to their feet, but Omar Gorka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adolfo Cai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adolfo Cai made an important save on a dangerous shot by Omar Gorka in the 18th minute. In the 25th minute, Omar Gorka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tadeo Ordono showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santo Eliu in the 27th minute of the match. Tadeo Ordono took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santo Eliu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C.A. Central Norte's Tadeo Ordono played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacobo Osorio in the 33rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Poma AFC's Santo Eliu got a free kick in the 37th minute. Bernardino Odol kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After having played for 40 minutes, Jacobo Osorio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Poma AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacobo Osorio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Poma AFC's Adolfo Cai got control of the ball when Omar Gorka tried to sneak it across the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Santo Eliu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eduardo Quinito hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute Santo Eliu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeo Ordono saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Omar Gorka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to C.A. Central Norte getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Bernardino Odol hit a great ball. In the 66th minute, Santo Eliu fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 68 minutes, Ruben Soter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A. Central Norte and the Poma AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 68 played minutes C.A. Central Norte got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Soter. Desiderio Abreu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 69th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Santo Eliu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santo Eliu in the 75th minute of play forced C.A. Central Norte's goalkeeper Tadeo Ordono to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tadeo Ordono made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacobo Osorio in the 76th minute. The supporters of Poma AFC booed when C.A. Central Norte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilario Crispo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacobo Osorio struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Tadeo Ordono didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Poma AFC. In the 85th minute Santo Eliu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeo Ordono saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Jacobo Osorio came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Poma AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacobo Osorio couldn't finish the play. Omar Gorka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Adolfo Cai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Poma AFC's Adolfo Cai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardino Odol in the 96th minute of play. The Poma AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented C.A. Central Norte from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
