In the 22nd minute, Cipriano Seber left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olavarría AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 30 minutes of play, Olavarría AFC's Cipriano Seber made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gregorio Stephen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gregorio Stephen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eulalio Nazario in the 37th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the game, Olavarría AFC's Eulalio Nazario nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gregorio Stephen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eulalio Nazario in the 46th minute of play forced Yatai AFC's goalkeeper Gregorio Stephen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gregorio Stephen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eulalio Nazario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Olavarría AFC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Cipriano Seber made the kick off in the second half. Freddy Ermengol struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Gregorio Stephen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olavarría AFC. Cipriano Seber was extremely unlucky when he, in the 54th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Eulalio Nazario in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gregorio Stephen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gregorio Stephen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cipriano Seber showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 68 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Yatai AFC's zone, Eulalio Nazario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gregorio Stephen came out of the goal and Eulalio Nazario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yatai AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Cipriano Seber scored to the left of an out of position Gregorio Stephen, making the score, 0-6. Freddy Ermengol's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 82ndth minute, Gregorio Stephen skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 84th minute, Eulalio Nazario ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gregorio Stephen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. Cipriano Seber received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gregorio Stephen came out and tried to block the shot, but Cipriano Seber slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 90th minute. Cipriano Seber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luis Cordarell hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Cipriano Seber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Gregorio Stephen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olavarría AFC played a much better game than Yatai AFC and deserved their victory. The Yatai AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
