After 10 minutes, Cirilo Patxi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Menga38 and the Tio Rico FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cirilo Patxi kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. If Desiderio Johans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damian Farias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Filomeno Crescencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th match minute, Menga38 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Perutxo to maneuver through the defense. Tio Rico FC's Damian Farias got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 28th minute, Casimiro Petri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Menga38 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Leonardo Inocente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casimiro Petri in the 34th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, Damian Farias dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Filomeno Crescencio, 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Casimiro Petri to make the kick off. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damian Farias couldn't finish the play. Fernan Palben fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Inocente having to interfere. Filomeno Crescencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Farias, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Casimiro Petri charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
