Placido Honesto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emiliano Gitano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. If Ruperto Gil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Esparta's zone, Placido Honesto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emiliano Gitano came out of the goal and Placido Honesto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emiliano Gitano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Placido Honesto's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Americo Tavio hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Zeledon Nayely sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the match, BAIRESLET FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Llorenc came free, but Amado Meder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute Ezequiel Dabi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amado Meder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amado Meder came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Esparta's Zeledon Nayely. But to his dismay, Zeledon Nayely quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. BAIRESLET FC's Placido Honesto was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 37th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. BAIRESLET FC's Ruperto Gil got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. David Gaxan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Placido Honesto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Emiliano Gitano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Placido Honesto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zeledon Nayely got free with Amado Meder in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 61st minute, Ciro Llorenc got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amado Meder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artemio Rio, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. David Gaxan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Emiliano Gitano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, BAIRESLET FC's Amado Meder got control of the ball when Narciso Elodio tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to BAIRESLET FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Ruperto Gil hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Esparta's zone, Placido Honesto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emiliano Gitano came out of the goal and Placido Honesto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 76 played minutes Esparta got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Llorenc. After a rather tough play, BAIRESLET FC's Lorenzo Lander got a free kick in the 80th minute. Aquiles Ixona took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Amado Meder. BAIRESLET FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Zeledon Nayely kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Placido Honesto put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Emiliano Gitano. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. BAIRESLET FC had played much better football throughout.
