The supporters of sabalero booed when Huayatayoc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Astigar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Constantino Firme's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Blas Theobald read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eleuterio Chabier got free with Blas Theobald in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Constantino Firme to strike the kick off in the second half. Blas Theobald showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eleuterio Chabier, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Huayatayoc's Eleuterio Chabier got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Constantino Firme's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Blas Theobald read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Huayatayoc's supporters rose to their feet, but Constantino Firme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Blas Theobald breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 75 minutes, Remigio Tonio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the sabalero and the Huayatayoc players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, sabalero's Remigio Tonio got a free kick in the 75th minute. When Constantino Firme came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Huayatayoc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Constantino Firme couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantino Firme in the 78th minute of play forced sabalero's goalkeeper Blas Theobald to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Constantino Firme scored 4-1 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Blas Theobald, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Constantino Firme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. sabalero's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
