The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Iratzeder got free with Leopoldo Cebo in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mariano Iratzeder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Leopoldo Cebo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Norberto Joey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor Tadzio, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. When Elias Eneto fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Reverendo Alegria FC's protests and gave Elias Eneto a yellow card for diving instead. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Reverendo Alegria FC! In the 24th minute there was a penalty for Harrys F.C. Siro Haimar stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Leopoldo Cebo. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Reverendo Alegria FC's zone, Mariano Iratzeder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leopoldo Cebo came out of the goal and Mariano Iratzeder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 30th minute Felipe Garaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Cebo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Harrys F.C's goalkeeper Norberto Joey, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Felipe Garaona kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 40th minute of the match, Felipe Garaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Leopoldo Cebo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Felipe Garaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Cebo having to interfere. Norberto Joey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Tadzio in the 44th minute of the match. When Reverendo Alegria FC's Nestor Tadzio in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Harrys F.C's goalie prevented a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Felipe Garaona made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Reverendo Alegria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Iratzeder came free, but Leopoldo Cebo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Norberto Joey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Tadzio in the 56th minute of play. Leopoldo Cebo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Garaona in the 60th minute of play. If Mariano Iratzeder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The supporters of Harrys F.C booed when Reverendo Alegria FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Eneto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nestor Sidro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Norberto Joey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nestor Tadzio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Reverendo Alegria FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Reverendo Alegria FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
