In the 8th minute Antonio Niguel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marciano Fiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Limache AFC's Prudencio Montez got a free kick in the 9th minute. When Tartagal AFC's Antonio Niguel in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Limache AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Ermegildo Tirso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Salvador Meder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Antonio Niguel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erubiel Vincente could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Salvador Meder made a huge save. It was a well-played corner which Lisandro Corderun managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Antonio Niguel struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Marciano Fiz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tartagal AFC. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Ermegildo Tirso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Limache AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ermegildo Tirso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Salvador Meder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 35 played minutes Tartagal AFC got a freekick which was hit by Nemesio Senin. In the 36th minute, Leonel Orlan sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tartagal AFC's Salvador Meder didn't even have to move. Marciano Fiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Niguel, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After 41 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Limache AFC! Melquiades Ieltxu shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Salvador Meder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermegildo Tirso in the 47th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Antonio Niguel made the kick off in the second half. Marciano Fiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Niguel in the 54th minute of play. Federico Savion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marciano Fiz having to interfere. Marciano Fiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Niguel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antonio Niguel struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Marciano Fiz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tartagal AFC. Tartagal AFC's Salvador Meder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermegildo Tirso in the 70th minute of play. The supporters of Tartagal AFC booed when Limache AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atilano Pello didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ermegildo Tirso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ermegildo Tirso came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Limache AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ermegildo Tirso couldn't finish the play. After 81 played minutes Tartagal AFC got a freekick which was hit by Nemesio Senin. If Erubiel Vincente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Melquiades Ieltxu during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 93 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tartagal AFC! Limache AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
