The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Villalonga AFC's Samuel Galindo got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Samuel Galindo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Melquiades Sotil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C A B reached it. After having played for 27 minutes, German Aragones managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villalonga AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but German Aragones was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Samuel Galindo struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Melquiades Sotil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villalonga AFC. Samuel Galindo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If German Aragones had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, C A B's goalkeeper Melquiades Sotil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samuel Galindo. Saturnino Cordarrell came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by C A B's Pedro Donio. But to his dismay, Pedro Donio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Rolando Mino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Saturnino Cordarrell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If German Aragones had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuel Galindo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Melquiades Sotil having to make a save. Rolando Mino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saturnino Cordarrell having to interfere. After 66 minutes of play Villalonga AFC's Isidro Florian was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 67th match minute, Villalonga AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidro Florian to maneuver through the defense. Samuel Galindo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filiberto Uxio's late challenge caught a C A B's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filiberto Uxio helped the player get up and apologised. Filiberto Uxio kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Samuel Galindo got in the 83rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Melquiades Sotil handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Villalonga AFC's Saturnino Cordarrell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Donio in the 91st minute of play. C A B's Pedro Donio managed to work through Villalonga AFC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Pedro Donio dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. C A B walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
