After having played for 20 minutes, Erasmo Quirze managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Red Bull's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erasmo Quirze was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21st minute, Narciso Uhin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Gualterio Beturian sped through Red Bull's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ramiro Petrigai. Erasmo Quirze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Claudio Kaxen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Red Bull's Rosendo Abadie got a free kick in the 31st minute. Claudio Kaxen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Quirze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulo Hotz's late challenge caught a Red Bull's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulo Hotz helped the player get up and apologised. After 38 played minutes, Red Bull's Moises Primo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Claudio Kaxen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Red Bull reached it. 41 minutes into the match, Red Bull's goal looked a bit too open when Godfredo Fero came free, but Ramiro Petrigai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moises Primo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Claudio Kaxen. Cuervo Mecánico's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gualterio Beturian made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Gualterio Beturian cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ramiro Petrigai was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cuervo Mecánico's Gualterio Beturian got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erasmo Quirze in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claudio Kaxen saved Cuervo Mecánico from getting behind. In the 63rd minute of the match Red Bull got a corner. Cuervo Mecánico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eustacio Lander ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Red Bull's corner Rosendo Abadie fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Claudio Kaxen quite easily take care of the ball. In the 68th minute, Red Bull's Erasmo Quirze ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Claudio Kaxen. Claudio Kaxen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Erasmo Quirze who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Claudio Kaxen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 79th minute, Leonel Colas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Erasmo Quirze, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 87 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Claudio Kaxen was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Claudio Kaxen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Quirze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Cuervo Mecánico booed when Red Bull was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rosendo Abadie didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Red Bull players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cuervo Mecánico.
