Celso Beturian's late challenge caught a Patron HC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celso Beturian helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th match minute, Mercenarios was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celso Beturian to maneuver through the defense. Maximiliano Felo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Haroldo Ruy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalmacio Caitano in the 30th minute of the match. Haroldo Ruy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In a very dangerous position, a player in Mercenarios fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 54th minute. Penalty! 59 minutes into the match, Dalmacio Caitano notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Mercenarios's Haroldo Ruy. Haroldo Ruy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mercenarios's Haroldo Ruy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Mercenarios from getting a goal against them. Mercenarios's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Maximiliano Felo 68 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-5. Haroldo Ruy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Felo in the 71st minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Mercenarios's goalkeeper Haroldo Ruy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dalmacio Caitano. A collision led to Patron HC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Antonio Orzaize hit a great ball. Dalmacio Caitano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haroldo Ruy having to interfere. Dalmacio Caitano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Haroldo Ruy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dalmacio Caitano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mercenarios's Teofilo Ceandro quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Antonio Orzaize, made in the 90th minute of the game. The supporters of Patron HC booed when Mercenarios was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Ceandro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Haroldo Ruy was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Maximiliano Felo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Maximiliano Felo really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. With a little luck, Mercenarios's Haroldo Ruy got control of the ball when Dalmacio Caitano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Patron HC played a much better game than Mercenarios and deserved their victory. The Mercenarios players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
