After 37 minutes of play, CERRO TORRE's Jacinto Quintana made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Horácio Botelho was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Godfredo Goi took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Horácio Botelho to make any attempt to save it. 46 minutes into the match, River Plate ♥'s goalkeeper Horácio Botelho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Godfredo Goi. In the 47th minute, Fulgencio Gomesano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

In the 56th match minute, River Plate ♥ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rosendo Transito to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute, River Plate ♥'s Lorenzo Bernebe seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Lorenzo Bernebe the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of River Plate ♥ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Lorenzo Bernebe had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 56th minute, one of River Plate ♥:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for River Plate ♥. The referee gave CERRO TORRE a penalty, 59 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Erubiel Quintun, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of River Plate ♥'s Horácio Botelho. 5-0. Gustavo Kelemen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Horácio Botelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CERRO TORRE had played much better football throughout.
