After recieving a nice pass, Anguincila's Gaston Javiar tried to score from far away in the 12th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, Anguincila's goal looked a bit too open when Feliberto Dayam came free, but Blas Panfilo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A wasted opportunity for Los Forasteros FC. 27 minutes into the match, Lucas Pelagius notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Los Forasteros FC's Alfonso Urdaspal. Alfonso Urdaspal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Anguincila's Blas Panfilo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arsenio Ekialde in the 30th minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Anguincila's goal looked a bit too open when Feliberto Dayam came free, but Blas Panfilo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blas Panfilo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Feliberto Dayam's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliberto Dayam in the 40th minute of play forced Anguincila's goalkeeper Blas Panfilo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Blas Panfilo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arsenio Ekialde in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

If Arsenio Ekialde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Los Forasteros FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arsenio Ekialde was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Blas Panfilo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliberto Dayam in the 60th minute of the match. After 71 played minutes Anguincila got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Hanot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Feliberto Dayam in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Blas Panfilo saved Anguincila from getting behind. Alfonso Urdaspal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edelmiro Baladi in the 75th minute of the match. In the 77th minute of the match Anguincila got a corner. Los Forasteros FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gaston Javiar ran over to the corner to take the kick. Hector Sayvion tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Alfonso Urdaspal. An unnecessary self made goal, 2-1 in the 78th minute. Feliberto Dayam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blas Panfilo having to interfere. Anguincila succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Los Forasteros FC had controlled the match.
