If Juli Alvarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 46 minutes of play, Como te duele la cola...'s Juli Alvarez made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Higinio Bikendi was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wincenty Kaczorowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Donato Teyo struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Gerardo Evarado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esquel. After having played for 60 minutes, Juli Alvarez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Higinio Bikendi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juli Alvarez in the 61st minute of play. In the 68th minute, Juli Alvarez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Esquel's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juli Alvarez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0.
