Aquiles Ixona charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aquiles Ixona the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aquiles Ixona kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. When Donato Teyo came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Esquel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donato Teyo couldn't finish the play. Hector Eguerdi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chau mz's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Hector Eguerdi 25 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Higinio Bikendi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Giro, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. If Ivan Giro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 34 played minutes Esquel got a freekick which was hit by Israel Mannuel. 35 minutes into the game, Chau mz's Mauro Medardo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Higinio Bikendi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Ivan Giro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Higinio Bikendi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Medardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Higinio Bikendi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Giro in the 42nd minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hector Eguerdi to make the kick off. Niceto Brais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Teyo in the 52nd minute of the match. Donato Teyo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Niceto Brais tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donato Teyo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Ovidio Damario fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Esquel's protests and gave Ovidio Damario a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Chau mz booed when Esquel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidio Damario didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonides Nuxila charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonides Nuxila the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Esquel getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Leonides Nuxila hit a great ball. Chau mz's Teodosio Cayo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 60th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Esquel. Hector Eguerdi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Niceto Brais tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chau mz's Niceto Brais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Eguerdi in the 64th minute of play. Hector Eguerdi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niceto Brais having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Teyo in the 68th minute of play forced Chau mz's goalkeeper Niceto Brais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niceto Brais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Teyo, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. With a little luck, Esquel's Higinio Bikendi got control of the ball when Ivan Giro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ivan Giro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Bikendi having to interfere. Paulo Abeijon hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Israel Mannuel kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
