The audience was convinced that Placido Itzaina's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marciano Eguntsenti was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, rosarioCentral's Cecilio Pueblo got a free kick in the 27th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Angelino Oidor made the kick off in the second half. rosarioCentral's Marciano Eguntsenti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelino Oidor in the 53rd minute of play. In the 56th minute Roberto Lehior shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Txerran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marciano Eguntsenti made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Placido Itzaina sent off a good shot on target. If Placido Itzaina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marciano Eguntsenti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelino Oidor in the 66th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in rosarioCentral's zone, Angelino Oidor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marciano Eguntsenti came out of the goal and Angelino Oidor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marciano Eguntsenti made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Placido Itzaina sent off a good shot on target. Angelino Oidor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marciano Eguntsenti having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Angelino Oidor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Buitres FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Angelino Oidor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marciano Eguntsenti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 82 minutes into the game, Cecilio Pueblo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. rosarioCentral's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Buitres FC the free kick. The supporters of Buitres FC booed when rosarioCentral was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cecilio Pueblo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Cecilio Pueblo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 87 minutes had been played. After 89 played minutes, Buitres FC's Domingo Oxarra shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marciano Eguntsenti came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Buitres FC reached it. Segundo Ibon kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. rosarioCentral's Roberto Lehior got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roberto Lehior struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Matias Txerran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for rosarioCentral. Placido Itzaina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
