Spectators: 7286 (Terracing: 5467, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rafael Mercurio kicked off to start the match. When Aaron Jurdan came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Fillip Porris fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aaron Jurdan couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Esquel booed when Fillip Porris was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santos Tano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Esquel's Amancio Maraman got a free kick in the 28th minute. Rafael Mercurio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Higinio Bikendi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafael Mercurio's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fillip Porris's goalkeeper Gabriel Damario, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fillip Porris's Aaron Jurdan got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aaron Jurdan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the match, Esquel's Hector Eguerdi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gabriel Damario narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Hector Eguerdi made the kick off in the second half. Gabriel Damario didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hector Eguerdi went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 58 minutes into the match, Aaron Jurdan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Higinio Bikendi. Esquel's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aaron Jurdan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 63 minutes into the match, Fillip Porris's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Teyo came free, but Gabriel Damario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Mercurio in the 69th minute of play forced Esquel's goalkeeper Higinio Bikendi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Hector Eguerdi came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Esquel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hector Eguerdi couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Aaron Jurdan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Higinio Bikendi. That made the score 2-2 in the 72 minute of play. If Aaron Jurdan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aaron Jurdan got free with Higinio Bikendi in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Israel Mannuel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santos Tano kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Rafael Mercurio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fillip Porris were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
