A hard shot 21 in the game by Dario Mouricio from a close distance when the talented Marcelo Ostots managed to make a qualified save. Talleres United FC's players were relieved. Maximiliano Joey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacobo Donzel in the 23rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacobo Donzel in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maximiliano Joey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 33 minutes into the game, Edgardo Hodei was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Talleres United FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Janimas FC the free kick. In the 33rd match minute, Talleres United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgardo Hodei to maneuver through the defense. In the 37thth minute of the game Jacobo Donzel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Janimas FC's Maximiliano Joey was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Venancio Marquez's late challenge caught a Janimas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Venancio Marquez helped the player get up and apologised. Venancio Marquez hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute Anastasio Crispo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximiliano Joey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. If Anastasio Crispo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacobo Donzel got in the 71st a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Maximiliano Joey handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Maximiliano Joey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacobo Donzel in the 74th minute. Maximiliano Joey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anastasio Crispo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Talleres United FC booed when Janimas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucio Bibiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anastasio Crispo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Joey having to interfere.
