Spectators: 7206 (Terracing: 5406, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 143) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ricardo Ordono made the kick off which started today's match. When Yalapa's Nunez Lesardo in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Medrano AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Ubaldo Ezkerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado George in the 8th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dionisio Adrio in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ubaldo Ezkerra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 12thth minute of the game Ricardo Ordono who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yalapa's Tomas Karmel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ricardo Ordono in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomas Karmel saved Yalapa from getting behind. Ricardo Ordono fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Karmel having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nunez Lesardo in the 22nd minute of play forced Medrano AFC's goalkeeper Ubaldo Ezkerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Dionisio Adrio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ubaldo Ezkerra came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Yalapa's Nunez Lesardo. But to his dismay, Nunez Lesardo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ricardo Ordono received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Tomas Karmel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Karmel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Celedonio Berart in the 41st minute. Celedonio Berart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nunez Lesardo made a kick off. Ricardo Ordono recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Medrano AFC booed when Yalapa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodoro Orti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardo Ordono fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Karmel having to interfere. Anacleto Cerilo kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Celedonio Berart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Tomas Karmel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the game, Yalapa's Dionisio Adrio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ubaldo Ezkerra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Yalapa's zone, Simon Lixandro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Karmel came out of the goal and Simon Lixandro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nunez Lesardo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ubaldo Ezkerra having to make a save. If Nunez Lesardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 85 played minutes Medrano AFC got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Naike. Ricardo Ordono struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Tomas Karmel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Medrano AFC. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Yalapa had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
