Alcides Calçada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Ordono, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Le´s Puses F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Medrano AFC the free kick. After 31 played minutes Le´s Puses F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Justino Maldonado. When Le´s Puses F.C.'s Dario Hustaz in 34 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Ubaldo Ezkerra guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After having played for 35 minutes, Elvio Eleder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Le´s Puses F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Elvio Eleder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Niguel in the 42nd minute of play forced Medrano AFC's goalkeeper Ubaldo Ezkerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laureano James lost his temper 43 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 42 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Medrano AFC! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Dario Hustaz made the kick off in the second half. Alcides Calçada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celedonio Berart, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Medrano AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Hustaz came free, but Ubaldo Ezkerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Venancio Aritza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 78th minute, Oscar Niguel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes into the match, Medrano AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Hustaz came free, but Ubaldo Ezkerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Dario Hustaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Medrano AFC defense, Reynaldo Banegas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ubaldo Ezkerra. The Medrano AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ubaldo Ezkerra should have stopped the shot. Le´s Puses F.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
