In the 12thth minute of the game Bonifacio Tauro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Renato's Edgard Todor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Teodoro Caton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 15 minutes in the game, Bonifacio Tauro dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Generoso Orain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Edgard Todor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Bonifacio Tauro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgard Todor was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Edgard Todor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bonifacio Tauro in the 24th minute of the match. Bonifacio Tauro took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgard Todor. Edgard Todor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Bonifacio Tauro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bonifacio Tauro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edgard Todor having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Bonifacio Tauro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alta Cordoba FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bonifacio Tauro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgard Todor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 42 minutes Renato's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Salvador Totakoxe who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Lorenzo Bemabe got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Edgard Todor quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Jimeno Pueblo came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Renato fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jimeno Pueblo couldn't finish the play. Lorenzo Bemabe took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Edgard Todor. Renato's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jimeno Pueblo was the one to do the kick off. When Lorenzo Bemabe fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alta Cordoba FC's protests and gave Lorenzo Bemabe a yellow card for diving instead. Lorenzo Bemabe kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Jimeno Pueblo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustaquio Emenon having to interfere. Bonifacio Tauro struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Edgard Todor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alta Cordoba FC. If Bonifacio Tauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Renato's Segundo Cresconio got a free kick in the 75th minute. Alta Cordoba FC's Eustaquio Emenon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernan Eztebe in the 78th minute of play. Tomás Mikeldi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustaquio Emenon having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Bonifacio Tauro took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Edgard Todor to make any attempt to save it. Bonifacio Tauro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Todor having to interfere. Bonifacio Tauro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the match, Teodoro Caton notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Renato's Edgard Todor. Edgard Todor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match was over Alta Cordoba FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Renato throughout the match.
