When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Norberto Playo made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnulfo Bernad got free with Damaso Javiar in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sixto Valente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Marino in the 61st minute of play forced los caras sucias's goalkeeper Dario Urtzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 74 minutes of play, Piamonte's Sixto Valente made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Piamonte's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Marino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
