With his leg Roman Ciano managed to avoid a goal in the 5thth minute, when JuanPujol FC's Ermegildo Herrera fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 14th match minute, Los Chacales was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justino Montes to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute JuanPujol FC were awarded a corner. Alfredo Ubarna went to the cornerflag to take it. Ildefonso Gorka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ildefonso Gorka in the 20th minute of play forced Los Chacales's goalkeeper Roman Ciano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Los Chacales:s Roman Ciano showed great skill when he stopped Alfredo Ubarna:s penalty. 25 minutes into the match, Alfredo Ubarna notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Los Chacales's Roman Ciano. Roman Ciano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Federico Quin struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Simon Rafel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Chacales. Ermegildo Herrera who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Roman Ciano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Los Chacales's Rigoberto Tanio got a free kick in the 31st minute. Ermegildo Herrera's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Roman Ciano skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Adolfo Ganix made the kick off in the second half. Simon Rafel made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Federico Quin sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot by Justino Montes from long distance, 54 minutes into the match, got Simon Rafel's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When Freddy Franco fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored JuanPujol FC's protests and gave Freddy Franco a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, JuanPujol FC's Freddy Franco got a free kick in the 55th minute. Federico Quin took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Simon Rafel. Simon Rafel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Simon Rafel came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Chacales's Federico Quin. But to his dismay, Federico Quin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in JuanPujol FC's zone, Federico Quin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simon Rafel came out of the goal and Federico Quin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to JuanPujol FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Anier Beat hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Federico Quin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Chacales's supporters rose to their feet, but Federico Quin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simon Rafel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 74th minute, Adolfo Ganix got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 82 minutes, Adolfo Ganix managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Chacales's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adolfo Ganix was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ermegildo Herrera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Roman Ciano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Federico Giro's late challenge caught a Los Chacales's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Federico Giro helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, JuanPujol FC's Federico Giro got a free kick in the 89th minute. After a defensive mix-up in JuanPujol FC's zone, Adolfo Ganix stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simon Rafel came out of the goal and Adolfo Ganix tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th minute Hugo Nardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Rafel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Los Chacales supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Los Chacales would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
