An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquiles Illart in the 14th minute of play forced Milagro's goalkeeper Genaro Roderigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Gimnasia LP 22 booed when Milagro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albino Esiquio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gimnasia LP 22's Aquiles Illart got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Gimnasia LP 22's Bruno Fagildo got control of the ball when Benjamin Mino tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 36 minutes, Sixto Oliverios managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gimnasia LP 22's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sixto Oliverios was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 38 minutes into the game, Javier Euloxu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Milagro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gimnasia LP 22 the free kick. Jairo Quinto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bruno Fagildo came out and tried to block the shot, but Jairo Quinto slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 45th minute.

The wind increased when Jairo Quinto made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aquiles Illart got free with Genaro Roderigo in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aquiles Illart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genaro Roderigo having to interfere. With a little luck, Milagro's Genaro Roderigo got control of the ball when Aquiles Illart tried to sneak it across the goal line. Albino Esiquio was shown his second yellow card after 59 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Milagro's Albino Esiquio got a free kick in the 59th minute. If Alejandro Cefero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aquiles Illart could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Genaro Roderigo made a huge save. Benjamin Mino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpected shot in the 71st minute by Aquiles Illart got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Aquiles Illart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sixto Oliverios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genaro Roderigo having to interfere. Alejandro Cefero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aquiles Illart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genaro Roderigo having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Aquiles Illart fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Sixto Oliverios blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Genaro Roderigo having to make a save. Aquiles Illart recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aquiles Illart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Genaro Roderigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gimnasia LP 22 played a much better game than Milagro and deserved their victory. The Milagro players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
