Spectators: 7075 (Terracing: 5413, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 2) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cayetano Vedillo kicked off to start the match. Ciriaco Iztal took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erasmo Ovando. Erasmo Ovando dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 7th minute, Miñones's Segundo Restu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jaime Mendebal. Jaime Mendebal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Cayetano Vedillo hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Ciriaco Iztal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Erasmo Ovando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erasmo Ovando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciriaco Iztal in the 15th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Edelmiro Txanton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jaime Mendebal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cayetano Vedillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Piñalitos AFC's Jaime Mendebal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Piñalitos AFC from getting a goal against them. If Cayetano Vedillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 41 played minutes Piñalitos AFC got a freekick which was hit by Martin Endira. 42 minutes into the match, Piñalitos AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cayetano Vedillo came free, but Jaime Mendebal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cayetano Vedillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hugo Theodore charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hugo Theodore the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Miñones's Hugo Theodore got a free kick in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ciriaco Iztal was the one to do the kick off. Cayetano Vedillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jaime Mendebal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Edelmiro Txanton put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jaime Mendebal. 61 minutes into the game, Edelmiro Txanton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Jaime Mendebal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cayetano Vedillo in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jaime Mendebal saved Piñalitos AFC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciriaco Iztal in the 71st minute of play forced Miñones's goalkeeper Erasmo Ovando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute, Hugo Theodore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Miñones's Segundo Restu got a free kick in the 73rd minute. When Ciriaco Iztal came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Piñalitos AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciriaco Iztal couldn't finish the play. Niceto Dantae might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erasmo Ovando. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Niceto Dantae ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 79th minute, Hugo Theodore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st match minute, Miñones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Segundo Restu to maneuver through the defense. Guaberto Xabel, 82 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Edelmiro Txanton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miñones's Cayetano Vedillo got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 95 minutes into the match, Cayetano Vedillo notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Piñalitos AFC's Jaime Mendebal. Jaime Mendebal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that Miñones were the better team. Miñones's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
