Bernardo Berenguer charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernardo Berenguer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacinto Bartuelo in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvaro Gaztea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Buque A.F.C! In the 23rd minute there was a penalty for LA ROMA NO!. Atilano Quinto stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alvaro Gaztea. 0-1. In the 26th minute, Gualterio Txerran ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alvaro Gaztea was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Jacinto Bartuelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Gaztea having to interfere. If Jacinto Bartuelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Gualterio Txerran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jacinto Bartuelo came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the LA ROMA NO! fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacinto Bartuelo couldn't finish the play. Alvaro Gaztea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacinto Bartuelo's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dante Abaurre made a kick off. Alvaro Gaztea stood somewhat misplaced when Jacinto Bartuelo came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 52 minute. Alvaro Gaztea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gualterio Txerran in the 57th minute. Gualterio Txerran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Gaztea having to interfere. Bernardo Berenguer got his second yellow card in the match during the 62nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Buque A.F.C getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Bernardo Berenguer hit a great ball. LA ROMA NO!'s Gualterio Txerran got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 74 minutes into the match, Gualterio Txerran notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Buque A.F.C's Alvaro Gaztea. Alvaro Gaztea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gualterio Txerran in the 78thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alvaro Gaztea, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jacinto Bartuelo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alvaro Gaztea having to make a save. Gualterio Txerran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jacinto Bartuelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
