In the 96th minute, Conesa's Remigio Behe ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Honorio Abarca. Honorio Abarca yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. The Independiente FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Conesa were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
