But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilio Navarro couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Melchor Refugio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Melchor Refugio in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ismael Lope saved Ycuha AFC from getting behind. After some careless play in the Ycuha AFC defense, Emilio Navarro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ismael Lope. The Ycuha AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ismael Lope should have stopped the shot. When Melchor Refugio came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Conlara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melchor Refugio couldn't finish the play. In the 94th minute, Melchor Refugio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Ycuha AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Conlara were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
