Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mariano Egoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Mechongué defense, Mariano Egoi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nestor Peli. The Mechongué fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nestor Peli should have stopped the shot. Denis Balasi took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nestor Peli. Nestor Peli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Mariano Egoi hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After 37 played minutes FortinerosCaserosClub got a freekick which was hit by Denis Balasi. Filomeno Turi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Amado Lia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Nestor Peli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicasio Ponciano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nestor Peli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Egoi went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. David Montrell charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Montrell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The wind increased when Godfredo Pirro made the kick off in the second half. Nestor Peli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Egoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. FortinerosCaserosClub's Amado Lia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godfredo Pirro in the 54th minute of play. Isaias Suero hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 59th play minute Denis Balasi came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Nestor Peli. 2-4. 63 minutes into the game, Godfredo Pirro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-4. Amado Lia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to FortinerosCaserosClub getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Valentin Manny hit a great ball. Filomeno Turi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Mechongué booed when FortinerosCaserosClub was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eulalio Ubarna didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Godfredo Pirro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Eulalio Ubarna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nestor Peli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Egoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the match, Eulalio Ubarna dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nestor Peli, 3-5. Mariano Egoi was extremely unlucky when he, in the 94th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out.
