Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Mechongué's Godfredo Pirro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 9th minute, Albano Nayely made a precise shot to the right of Paulo Foro. Huracan de Saladillo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. With a left leg Paulo Foro saved Huracan de Saladillo from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Narciso Sanduru to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Godfredo Pirro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paulo Foro was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. After 66 minutes, Godfredo Pirro made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Huracan de Saladillo's Paulo Foro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
