Prospero Monte came out of the goal and Espinola Raiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Prospero Monte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Espinola Raiz in the 9th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Gihón FC's goal looked a bit too open when Efrain Vasco came free, but Lorenzo Nofre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Gihón FC booed when Virreyes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Nicholas didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Efrain Vasco came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Virreyes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Efrain Vasco couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Espinola Raiz put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Prospero Monte. The audience was convinced that Espinola Raiz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Prospero Monte was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. With his leg Prospero Monte managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Gihón FC's Espinola Raiz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 45 minutes, David Nicholas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Virreyes and the Gihón FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. David Nicholas kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Espinola Raiz made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Virreyes's goal looked a bit too open when Espinola Raiz came free, but Prospero Monte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lorenzo Nofre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Genaro Gaufred in the 65th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Espinola Raiz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Prospero Monte. Virreyes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Espinola Raiz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. If Dobre Vata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Prospero Monte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dobre Vata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dobre Vata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Monte having to interfere. Ramon Cristofol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Monte having to interfere. Genaro Gaufred sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Prospero Monte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Espinola Raiz in the 86th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Gihón FC had played much better football throughout.
