The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Carlos Maura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Haroldo Muno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Espinillo AFC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Angel Furtado hit a great ball. If Carlos Maura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Carlos Maura managed to get in a good position for a shot. Casbas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Maura was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Quintyn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Haroldo Muno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the game, Casbas FC's Bruno Liher nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Daniel Quintyn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Haroldo Muno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Quintyn came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Casbas FC's Albino Francho. But to his dismay, Albino Francho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Carlos Maura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Haroldo Muno sped through Espinillo AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Daniel Quintyn. Bruno Liher kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Daniel Quintyn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Haroldo Muno's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Angel Furtado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Casbas FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Haroldo Muno to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Espinillo AFC's zone, Haroldo Muno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Quintyn came out of the goal and Haroldo Muno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 54th minute, Delmiro Hurko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Haroldo Muno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruno Liher kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Haroldo Muno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Maura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Haroldo Muno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Espinillo AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Haroldo Muno scored to the left of an out of position Daniel Quintyn, making the score, 0-4. Daniel Quintyn made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Carlos Maura sent off a good shot on target. If Carlos Maura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Casbas FC's Bruno Liher got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 93 played minutes Espinillo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Angel Furtado. An unexpected shot in the 94th minute by Carlos Maura got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Carlos Maura in the 96thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Daniel Quintyn, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Casbas FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
